“We moved so many years in darkness until you people [through missions] came and brought light. We were worshipping blindly w/o knowing salvation. We started seeing now where we are going as a church in salvation. In the past, people were worshiping then going to consult witch doctors. There was no drawing of a line between believers and non-believers. There’s a big reduction of witch doctors in the area because they’re scared. The church then had 8,668 unsaved members, and now there are 17,600 saved members! Now, there are others who are doing this on their own! We had churches but didn’t know anything about Christ. We were singing songs out of a book. I myself did not understand salvation until you told us about it. Now we are no longer religious. We are followers of Christ. Members are no longer going to witch doctors because they know the truth.”
