It's in the Name of Jesus that anyone can be saved, and by faith in the Power of the Blood that Christ shed on Calvary, the same Power of God that raised Him from the dead, that anyone can be healed. “We moved so many years in darkness until you people [through missions] came and brought light. We were worshipping blindly w/o knowing salvation. We started seeing now where we are going as a church in salvation. In the past, people were worshiping then going to consult witch doctors. There was no drawing of a line between believers and non-believers. There’s a big reduction of witch doctors in the area because they’re scared. The church then had 8,668 unsaved members, and now there are 17,600 saved members! Now, there are others who are doing this on their own! We had churches but didn’t know anything about Christ. We were singing songs out of a book. I myself did not understand salvation until you told us about it. Now we are no longer religious. We are followers of Christ. Members are no longer going to witch doctors because they know the truth.”

Chikoka Village, Mambwe, Eastern Province
God healed a woman who had a tumor in her head. She had intense headaches and could hardly work. In the villages, if you don't work, you don't eat. She was immediately healed and her pain left her.
A woman came with pain in her right side under her breast. She couldn't breathe or bend to work. God healed her immediately.
Three witch doctors had come to service that evening. They came to see who is disrupting the village and taking away their "business" by telling others about Jesus. A witch doctor's intent is to get rid of the messenger. Instead, they received the message and dedicated their lives to Christ!
25 people living in demonic possession came forward.
That evening, in that small, mud brick church with a temperature of about 95 degrees; after hours of singing, hearing the message and active prayer, a total of 75 people had come to Christ, 25 were delivered from demonic possession, and many were healed! What a miraculous night; all for the Glory of God!
The next morning, after a 3 mile walk to the river,
21 people were baptized including the three witch doctors who received salvation the night before!
Malulu Village, Lusangazi District, Eastern Province
This village had a very heavy and demonic atmosphere. Scott's opening statement was "I command every devil to hold its peace right now in the Name of Jesus Christ", and immediately went into John 3:16 and the message.
When the message was over and the prayer of salvation was given, hundreds came forward. During call for prayer, many came who wanted to be strengthened in the Lord as well as those needing healing. During this time of prayer, demons began to manifest. Demon after demon was cast out of people. Some of which were very violent.
There were more than 300 people in attendance with more people outside than could fit inside. More than 30 people were
freed from demonic possession and over two hundred received salvation!
We received an update after our return to the states: "The girl from the Malulu Village who walked for a day and got delivered walked back to her village and starting telling everyone about Jesus and what He did for her!"
This is how villages are transformed by the Power of God!
Bethlehem Local Church, Jombo Area District, Eastern Province
As we approached this church, excited children began running alongside the car on both sides.
They were smiling and waving as they ran to the church grounds. This village was very large with
many kids.
There were just under 400 people in attendance and service began with singing! The message was
given and was well received, The people desperately desired more of what God has to offer and now know the way because they heard the truth!
After the message and the offer of salvation, the altar was open. many came forth for deliverance and healing. Many were delivered from demonic possession.
A deaf boy was led to the front by his mom. He was prayed over and asked if he could hear now. He first shook his head no. He was prayed over again and asked if he could hear. He looked up with a smile and shook his head yes!
A woman asked for prayer for her asthma. When she approached, her breathing was a struggle. She said she had not been able to breathe which was keeping her from working in the fields. There, if you don't work, you don't eat. She was healed of asthma and took a deep breath in!
A teen boy was healed of bad headaches.
Others with stomach pains, leg cramps, back pains - healed by the Name of Jesus!
A guy came who was a drinker and had lost his wife because of it. He wanted salvation and peace. He received Christ and came back the next morning looking better with new hope saying thank you and asking for a Bible!
300 came to Christ and 32 were delivered from demonic possession.
*Update from Bishop Sakala a month after our return to the states as told to him by the Pastor of the Bethlehem Church: “The boy who had epilepsy was not from our village. He was 7 years old and had walked from another village. He got a blanket that day and was prayed for to be healed of his epilepsy. Well, he went back to his village telling everyone how he received a blanket and what the Mzungu said about Jesus Christ. God healed him of his epilepsy and his whole village has changed on account of his Testimony!”
