Declaration Of Faith

We Believe:​

 

• That all scripture in the Bible is given by divine inspiration of God. -2 Timothy 3:16.

• That God eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. -1 John 5:7 

• That Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, and is the only begotten Son of God. -Luke 1: 26-33

• That Jesus faced trials yet lived a sinless life.  -1 Peter 2:22

• That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead just as He said, and was witnessed by over 500 people after       His resurrection. - Acts 4:10    -Acts 1:3    -1 Corinthians 15:3-8

• That Jesus ascended to Heaven and is interceding for us at the right hand of God the Father.  -Acts 1:9-11

• That all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.  -Romans 3:23.

• That Christ bore our sins in His own body on the cross, therefore He calls us into repentance for the forgiveness of sins     and for divine healing. -Acts 3:19  -1 Peter 2:24

• That by faith and by God's great mercy, we can be born again; renewed by the Holy Spirit.  -Romans 10:9

• That, subsequent to new birth, we can be sanctified through faith, the Word, and the Holy Spirit.  -Acts 26:18

• That Jesus, our sanctifier, is our example of God's holy standard of living for us. -Hebrews 4:15   -1 Peter 2:9

• In water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. -Acts 2:38

• In the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in new tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. -Acts 2:1-4

• In the Lord's supper; communion. -1 Corinthians 11:26

• In showing humility and meekness by the washing of feet. -John 13:14-15

• In the second coming of Christ; that, at an unknown hour, He will return to resurrect the righteous dead and call away the   living saints to Him in the air.  -1 Thessalonians 4:17
